Your Giving Tuesday Gift Is Matched 5X—Support CALI Today

Giving Tuesday 2025

Every Dollar Matched 5X by the Once Upon a Time Foundation

CALI has received a matching grant of $250,000 per year over the next four years, but we must raise $50,000 that will be matched 5X.  We need your help.  We will create more, free/open casebooks, more CALI lessons and more Access to Justice tools that serve legal education and the legal practice communities.  On this Giving Tuesday, we’re inviting faculty like you to help. <link to press release>

CALI is a nonprofit organization driven by a mission: to make legal education more effective, affordable, and innovative for all law students. Your support directly enhances the resources you and your students already rely on by allowing us to:

  • Develop new Lessons written by law faculty and Academic Success professionals.
  • Expand and update our open, free casebooks to reduce financial burdens on students.
  • Improve faculty tools, such as LessonLink and analytics, that support formative assessment.
  • Pilot forward-thinking initiatives that push legal education into the future, such as the CALI® AI Dev Lab.

As you know, all CALI resources are available to your students at no additional cost because of member support, and donations from faculty help us continue creating and improving the tools you use in your courses.

If you believe in CALI’s mission and the value it brings to your classroom, we hope you’ll consider making a tax-deductible gift today.

Right now, every dollar donated to CALI is matched 5X (YES, 5 TIMES YOUR DONATION) thanks to a generous grant from the Once Upon a Time Foundation. That means your support today goes fivefold as far, but only if received before the matching funds expire.

Your contribution—no matter the amount—directly fuels better, more accessible legal education. Thank you for being part of a community that strengthens teaching, supports students, and invests in the future of the profession.

With appreciation,

The CALI Team
